Nintendo has officially rolled out the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 along with a lineup of new accessories \u2014 including the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and Nintendo Switch 2 Camera \u2014 in launch regions such as Japan, the United States, and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the direct successor to the original Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2 keeps the hybrid formula that made its predecessor a hit, supporting TV mode, tabletop mode, and handheld play so you can game anytime, anywhere. It\u2019s fully compatible with existing Nintendo Switch titles, but packs major performance upgrades thanks to a next-gen custom NVIDIA processor, delivering a big boost in power. On the dock, the system supports up to 4K resolution, variable refresh rate (VRR), and HDR visuals for sharper, smoother, and more vibrant gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the go, the new handheld experience is powered by a 7.9-inch 1080p HDR LCD screen with a blazing 120Hz refresh rate, providing crystal-clear visuals and ultra-smooth motion. Storage has also been significantly expanded to 256GB out of the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The redesigned Joy-Con 2 controllers now use a magnetic connection for a more secure fit. Simply press a rear release button to detach them. Buttons \u2014 including the SL\/SR set and thumbsticks \u2014 are larger for improved comfort, and Nintendo is introducing a mouse-style control mode for games that benefit from alternative input styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switch 2 also debuts a brand-new Game Chat feature. By pressing the dedicated \u201cC\u201d button on the Joy-Con 2, players can instantly start talking with friends. A built-in microphone ensures clear voice capture even if you\u2019re not sitting right next to the console. On top of that, you can share your live gameplay feed directly with friends \u2014 even if they\u2019re playing something completely different \u2014 so you can hang out, watch each other\u2019s games, and chat in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
